Verified Photography Seals The Deal!
Vector Design Concepts has completed a "Visual Survey" of the proposed phase 2, Thorpe Business Park development, J46 M1, Leeds.
Cameg Project Management approached Vector as they had established that a visual survey of their site was required to satisfy certain planning conditions. This process is commonly referred to as ‘Verified Photography’ and involves a site / area being photographed from multiple view points, collecting accurate location data.

Working together with the client and a representative from the Leeds Council Planning Department, they spent the day photographing the proposed site from multiple view points throughout the area, in numerous cases taking photographs from several miles away. Every photograph that was taken was agreed in advance and included a strict process in which each location was accurately recorded, ensuring that any individual can return back to the precise location of every photograph. This included information regarding camera model, focal length, camera height above ground to name a few.

The panoramic photographs were intended to be used by the Architect to superimpose the proposed development.

This has been an excellent opportunity for Vector to gain additional experience in Verified Photography and the processes that are associated therein.
