Building description:
As part of the £12 million revamp to
Thornaby Town Centre in Stockton, the Leeds and London based developers
Thornfield Properties Plc commissioned Vector Design to generate a series of
illustrations during the initial stages of the design process. Key CGI visuals
were produced and utilised in presentations to prospective retailers and for
use in negotiations with the planning authority.
The prestigious scheme
comprises of 120,000sq ft of new build retail and office accommodation, a
market square cafe and foodstore. Bespoke artwork designed by Stephen
Newby in the form of a blown metal sphere is also part of the
development. Large scale site hoardings were designed and employed to
assist the marketing strategy attracting high profile tenants such as New Look,
Barclays and Wilkinsons.
