Adam Lingard

Graphic Designer
From as early as I remember design has been my passion, from drawing the ultimate dinosaur to planning the perfect garden pond for my frogs. I studied at both Wakefield and Doncaster college to achieve my quailifications in Graphics and have six years working in the industry with 5 of those years being at Vector Design Concepts. As well as design my interests include fancy dress, cider, and showing off my silky skills on the football field. I am currently the unofficial all time leading goal scorer for THP FC. I am also a proud new father to the best little boy in the world.

Andrew Moody

3D Manager
After studying Architecture at Leeds, I was drawn towards computers and technology and how various software packages can help us produce the "final image". Vector was born form the idea that we can produce anything for anyone and I like the fact no day is the same as we get to work on a wide variety of projects.  My inspirations have come from Richard Rogers (architect), Richard Williams (animator), Andy Sturgeon (Landscape Designer) and David Bowie (musician), all of who have pushed the boundaries in their individual fields.  In my spare time I enjoy writing music and playing bass in a local band, I’m also a keen fly fisherman which is a great escape from the keyboard and monitor, (and wife!).

George Barnes

Landscape Designer
Growing up in the Yorkshire Countryside, the landscape has always been a big part of my life. I see Landscape Design as a chance to try and improve the environment in which we live and work. For me, the landscape is as important as the built form to which it surrounds and is a crucial element in the makeup of a successful Cityscape. Outside the office, I am a keen sportsman, playing squash, golf and taking part in charity runs and cycle rides. Often people get confused between keen and good, but I would definitely say I am leaning towards keen.

Jamie Goldspink

Graphics Manager
My dad bought me my first computer (it was for the family, but no-one else got a look-in) when I was 9. I remember it being an IBM XPS with a CGI 4 colour monitor and Paint was a serious design tool, well it was for a 9 year old in 1987. From then on, I was captivated by design. Apart from the 4 years at Building College, I'm predominantly self taught, gaining vast experience in a variety of construction and design sectors over the last 15 years; as well as my own personal interests in other business ideas. I'm very excited about new technology, design techniques and trying new ideas to keep Vector Design Concepts up-to-date with current trends. My ultimate goal is to create a solid design agency that is synonymous with innovation, quality and style.

Kamil Bialas

Junior 3D Visualiser
I’ve been interested in the computer games industry for many years and was drawn into 3D graphics when 3D Studio Max released version 2.5, enabling me learn about building and character design.  My family has been involved in the construction industry so from a young age I’ve been fascinated with buildings and architecture.  I have been fortunate enough to turn a hobby into a career and when I joined Vector Design Concepts as a Junior 3D Modeller I have been able to create architectural CGI’s.  In my spare time I enjoy learning new 3D Max techniques and tricks to improve my skills.

Ketia Fong-Wah

Interior Designer
I genuinely love my job, I have been with Vector Design Concepts for over 8 years and thinking about space in structure is my thing. It is a great feeling to be able to create something from scratch, and then develop and build a concept into something real. I would describe myself as the weird one that is interested in how it has been constructed.  Design, good and bad I’m not bothered because someone somewhere must have thought it was a good idea which is why I enjoy design so much, it is personal to the individual.  To keep me sane I snowboard…….a lot, a heck of a lot, and I love it as much as design it keeps me balanced and stops me from turning into the female version of Laurence Llewelyn Bowen.

Ryan Serle

Graphic Designer
Having studied at Leeds College of Art & Design and Leeds Metropolitan University, I have been able to feed my creative flair and being able to express my personality into my work is something that appeals to me about this industry. Working at Vector Design Concepts allows me to utilize the latest  design software and  become more experienced as a designer. I love working with vectors and creating graphic artwork and illustrations, whilst combining these with creative photography means a career in design is certainly an exciting job.  In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, I'm a keen tennis and golf player and consider myself quite the film connoisseur with my favourite film being the 90's ultimate classic, Terminator 2.

Steve Banks

Senior 3D Visualiser
From my earliest memories I’ve always been creative so to work in the design industry has been a dream career choice.  Having many artistic influences growing up (from Norman Foster to my Art Foundation tutor Sam Boffey) a particular inspiration was born from the early graphic work of Shynola.  The role of 3D and animation in the design industry and the use of special fx in films intrigues me and having the skill to turn an idea into something 3 dimensional is very rewarding.  Away from the office I enjoy playing golf and squash, country walks with our dog “Merlot”, the theatre, and proudly spending time with our new son.
